The Union Artist Studios
My "later in life" journey began about seven years ago when I joined an art studio in Fort Myers, FL. At the time, I had only been selling a few pieces at a local market and felt the need to find a place to focus on my hobby, or at least what I thought was just a hobby. Over time, it evolved into what it is today.
The art studio became a pivotal point in my life's journey. It provided a space to focus on my passion for art and helped me realize that it was more than a hobby. The studio became a creative sanctuary where I could explore and nurture my artistic talent, leading me to embrace a new path as an artist.
If you are in the SWFL area, I invite you to visit the studio. The Union Artist Studios is situated at the intersection of McGregor and Colonial Blvd. It is open to the public every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Beneath the studios, you will find the Arts and Eats cafe, where you can enjoy a meal surrounded by beautiful artwork and converse with artists. On the other side, you will find the DAAS Art Gallery. The Arts and Eats Cafe and the DAAS Art Gallery are open on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and special occasions. (Please note that the date and times are subject to change.)
