To The Wonderful Students of Immokalee

 My sister Julia and I were approached to be one of the guest speakers for the iTech, the Immokalee Technical Center, to lecture about graphic design. We were on board!

The students are participating in a dual-enrollment program. This is where high school juniors and senior students have the opportunity to begin and earn credits toward certifications in most of the programs offered at iTech. What a great start to their careers!   

Wednesday, Julia and I arrived at the center not knowing what to expect and found ourselves surprised at how many students were there. They were enthusiastic and engaged with the speakers from the very begining. We were very impressed! That afternoon we presented a slide show, many sample prints, portfolio design, and our take on artistic representation of graphics. We loved every minute of it and would like to say thank you to the wonderful kids of Immokalee, we hope you enjoyed having us as much as we enjoyed being there.
