I love Black and White. It's timeless. It says alot without saying much. Why are we attracted to the color black? I've read somewhere that it is "mysterious by evoking a sense of potential and possibility". I couldn't agree more.
“I’ve been 40 years discovering that the queen of all colors was black.” — Pierre-Auguste Renoir
Bouquet of Flowers
Flowers and nature are my inspiration. I live in Florida where nature thrives. I guess you can say that this is where my green thumb flourish.
Every flower is a soul blossoming in nature. ~Gerard de Nerval
Ahhh... The beginning of everything! For those who know me, I carry a sketchpad/ book everywhere. Even to the supermarket! I have to agree, it's a bit much. I don't need it when I do shopping but ya never know when and where inspiration strikes. Yes, Its an obsession. And it's never enough.
"What can a pencil do for all of us? Amazing things. It can write transcendent poetry, uplifting music, or life-changing equations; it can sketch the future, give life to untold beauty, and communicate the full-force of our love and aspirations." -Adam Braun
Another passion of mine is to reuse what I have around me. Why waste? There are endless materials all around us, let it be a banana, a coffee filter, cardboard boxes or old books. I am never buying wrapping paper when I can create, draw and make my own art. Inspiration is everywhere. Explore. See where it takes you. Lets be part of the change. Even if it may seem small.
In one of my Pinterest boards, I have a board that is dedicated exclusive to creating/making your own gift wrapping paper in a unique way. Check it out when you get a chance. And don't forget to follow me!
My twin sister, Judith and I have a passion for children's books. That's why we decided we should write and illustrate our very own books. It's always been a dream of ours and decided that we should make it a reality.
I'm in love with Watercolors. Till this day, I try to educate myself on how it works. There's no room for mistakes. I love the look and feel of it and hopefully I can master it one day by hand. In the meantime, I have photoshop to help correct my errors.
"Perhaps watercolour is more art than acrylics or oil, because the opportunity to correct errors is very limited as the colours are transparent... The sun, wind and temperature influences water-pigment-paper!! Everything flows, painting with watercolors! " Adriana Buggino
